I have been a practising complementary therapist since 2004. I am an Acupuncture graduate of Landsdowne college in Dublin and furthered my training by going to China and completing a clinical internship at the Hangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I am also a fully qualified Shiatsu and massage therapist.
I have a particular interest in women’s heath, fertility, pregnancy, childbirth and the post natal period. I had personal experience of fertility and pregnancy issues, having myself suffered recurrent miscarriages and also having various complications in my pregnancy. This led me into detailed research into all aspects of miscarriage and pregnancy. As a result of my research, I used various natural methods, including acupuncture, subsequently giving birth to a beautiful baby girl in August 2013. I feel this gives me great empathy with those who are also struggling with their own fertility and pregnancy issues and am passionate about sharing and helping those who are going through similar experiences.
I have attended various postgraduate courses, including several focusing on pregnancy and fertility. I have studied pregnancy acupuncture with Debra Betts and have a diploma in TCM Gynaecology & Obstetrics in Acupuncture with Dr Trevor Wing.
I am a member of AFPA (Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association).
