Anne-Marie has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for 18 years. She graduated with a Licentiate in TCM from the Irish College of TCM in 2000. Her first post grad study was in China, learning and practicing specialised Medical Qi gong under renowned Professor Xia Shuangquan at Guangzhou University hospital. She qualified as a Chinese Medical Herbalist in 2008.
From early on in her practice Anne-Marie had a special interest in pregnancy care, preparing women for birth, assisting at the birth and supporting the womans recovery. She also gained a lot of experience in treating babies and children with acupuncture, herbs and Chinese dietary therapy.
Her interest in these areas led to further study in gynaecological health and fertility, obtaining a TCM Gynaecology and Obstetrics Diploma.
Her passion lies in supporting and improving health through lifestyle. Anne-Marie uses a combination of acupuncture, herbs, dietary therapy and therapeutic Qi Gong exercise to help clients enhance and improve their health. These Qi Gong methods (specialised breathing and slow movements) can support couples going through the difficulties and stresses of their fertility journey.
Anne-Marie runs her busy sea view practices in Malahide and Howth, and also in a quiet wooded setting in Leixlip.
She can be contacted on 0876177958.
