Helena Barker (Lic.Ac., Dip.Acu., Dip.Nat) graduated from CNM with a diploma in Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese medicine and Naturopathy in 2011.
Helena is a member of the Zita West network for reproductive health, as an affiliated acupuncturist. She has also completed post-grad training with the reknown fertility & pregnancy acupuncturist and midwife Debra Betts, and has done further training in male fertility, PCOS, advanced maternal age and IVF support.
She specialised further in 2017 when she trained in Advanced Gynaecology and Obstetrics with Dr Trevor Wing.
Women’s health is at the forefront of her practice, especially fertility and IVF support, gynecology & pregnancy.
Helena’s interest in Complementary Medicine stems from her childhood years and her mother influenced her as a practicing Reflexologist, Acupuncturist and Reki Healer. She has seen first-hand the power of complementary medicine and has used Natural therapies throughout her life to maintain wellness and vitality.
She believes that by enhancing your overall health, you improve the health of your reproductive system can lay the foundation for a healthy pregnancy.
She strongly feels that ‘wellness’ isn’t an endpoint, but is an ongoing relationship with your own body, ‘self’ and your environment – a natural balance.
