Brenda has studied acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland & has her own practice Just Be Acupuncture in Rathfarnham. She also works in AcuHeal Dundrum.
Brenda has a particular interest in Women’s Health with a keen focus in fertility & pregnancy.
From a fertility & pregnancy perspective, she completed a Diploma in TCM Gynaecology & Obstetrics in Acupuncture with Dr. Trevor Wing, based in London. Brenda learnt how to integrate TCM & biomedicine safely & effectively.
Brenda has her own personal experience with fertility & IVF & has gained an in depth understanding & knowledge of fertility issues & IVF clinics. This has benefited her as a practitioner in this field & she is empathetic & passionate about supporting women & couples to improve fertility.
Brenda has also completed postgraduate TCM studies in the field of auricular acupuncture & the use of moxibustion. She has also continued to further her fertility studies by completing a course with Celine Leonard in Gynaecology & Infertility as well as the use of Chinese mushrooms in fertility & reproductive immunology.
Brenda has also studied Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching with the Institute of Health Sciences, Dublin which complements her work as an acupuncturist.
Brenda is a professional member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association which regulates members ensuring high standards of treatment & patient care.
