Eva Hefferenan

Eva graduated with a Diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007 and has since been continuing her professional development in the areas of Fertility, Gynaecology, Pregnancy and Paediatrics. In 2010 she gained a Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine and in 2016 completed a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, with Dr Trevor Wing, and is an associate practitioner of The Women’s Natural Health Practice in the UK (naturalgynae.com).
She treats a wide range of health conditions at her clinic with gynae and fertility being a large percentage. She treats all stages of women’s health from menstrual irregularities to PCOS and endometriosis, hormone regulation, menopause and pregnancy conditions. She enjoys helping couples through their fertility journey from pre-conception health for both partners through to working with them through the physical and emotional journey of IVF, IUI and donor IVF. She has seen many of her patients from fertility through pregnancy and also providing gentle effective treatments for their babies and children for conditions such as colic, sleep, allergies and asthma. She is a regular speaker at Mothercare Waterford’s Baby and Me events, spreading the awareness of the benefits of acupuncture during pregnancy and as a pre-birth preparation treatment.
Eva is also the Secretary of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland and has served as a board member for 8 years.
