Although I treat most conditions, my special interest lies in the field of fertility, pregnancy and childbirth. I have attended many post graduate courses including some given by renowned leaders in their field such as Zita West, Debra Betts, Sarah Budd and Jane Lyttleton to name a few. I am a member of the Zita West Affiliate programme as well as a member of the Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association.
I believe that acupuncture is an invaluable compliment to western reproductive medicine as well as a wonderful therapy on its own for the treatment of natural conception. I have extensively researched the Assisted Reproductive techniques offered all around Europe and I would be happy to share this knowledge if required. Taking the first step towards assisted reproduction, whether it be IVF or some variation of it, is a big step and the amount of information online can be baffling and very time consuming. I have been fortunate to help many couples realise their ultimate goal of conceiving, having a healthy pregnancy and ultimately producing a new addition to the family.
I studied with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland and graduated in 2006. My Licentiate Diploma was awarded in October 2006 by the Nanjing University International Training Centre, where I undertook my postgraduate training. While in China, I studied with international lecturer Dr Qiao Wenlei in the 454 Military Hospital.
Additionally, I hold Diplomas / certificates in TuiNa massage, Swedish Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, sports massage and first aid.
I am also a graduate of Surrey University in England where I attained a BA (Hons) Degree in 1992.
I am available for treatments Monday to Saturday and can usually cover a Sunday if essential.
