The main area of specialisation for Marianne is women’s health, particularly fertility and pregnancy. Marianne works with couples through all stages of the fertility journey, she creates a unique and holistic treatment plan that includes Acupuncture, Abdominal massage, Diet and lifestyle advice in order to achieve optimal health to conceive and hold baby to full term. Marianne supports couples going through Assisted fertility, IVF, ICSI, Donor Egg/Sperm and is part of the Mind/Body Sims IVF programme in Clonskeagh, for which she is the recommended Acupuncturist.
She also treats women through all trimesters of pregnancy, supporting and preparing for birth and giving advice on post-partum care. Marianne often combines Reflexology, Acupuncture, Acupressure and Nutrition therapy which together form a wonderful safe and effective treatment for mothers to be.
Marianne practices from a discreet and relaxing integrative clinic based beside the sea in Sandycove, south county Dublin, a quiet and peaceful setting to enhance the healing process.
Education and Qualifications
Marianne McCabe graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2000 with an honors degree in Sport Science and Psychology. It was there that the interest in health and well-being grew, particularly from a holistic perspective. She went on to study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and Lansdowne College of Acupuncture in Dublin under Dr. Vincent Carroll where she was awarded her diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In 2007 Marianne completed advanced studies at the University of TCM in Beijing, China. She has since undertaken many postgraduate courses in Obstetrics, Fertility and Assisted Fertility with Debra Betts, Dr. Trevor Wing, Jani White, Sarah Budd and Therese Parsons.
Marianne teaches at an undergraduate level with the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
